AP Ageing isn't time sensitive for us. But Stock Status, Received not
invoiced, and open DMR report and Inspection pending oh yeah and the
backlog. Those are the reports I run in that sliver of time. Work in
Process is time sensitive but I need to wait to run it after the labor
is checked for the month. So no one can post parts to finished goods,
check packing slips shipped or close or complete work orders before I
run the report. But this doesn't stop production nor does it stop the
physical shipment of parts.

There are only a few reports that are time sensitive and non
reproducible beyond that sliver of a window for month end.
One is the Stock Status report, then there is the AP Aging, and the
Received But Not Invoiced Report. I can't remember
if the Work in Process report is time sensitive, but seems like it would
be.

Importance: Low
Right now we are shutting down production for a shift to do month end.
I am still trying to find someone who just runs right through if it is
on a weekday.
Also does anyone have samples of their different month end close
procedures. We would like to compare what we are doing to some others.
