Question on duplicating a field on a form, hopefully easy answer

You may have to be sober at your meeting, but I don't have to be sober at your meeting!

On Customer entry, there's the salesperson field. For our company, we need to track an internal sales person and external sales person, so I need to duplicate this field so we can have two values.

I've created a new epiCombo field, bound it to Customer.ShortChar01 and duplicated all the values the SalesRep field had for EpiCombo fields so I have the same dropdown values.

The problem is somehow something in the EpiCombo section of fields are firing for both. So, if I set the dropdown for sales rep, my new field changes and vice versa.

Has anyone done this before and know offhand what field is binding them together?
Use an EpiRetriever combo and bind it to ShortChar01 that should take care
of your problem. Not sure how you duplicated before but that may have
caused the problem.

Would be cool if there was an organized Yahoo meetup there. At least a location and a time, not sure if that's feasible but it's an idea.
