Quick question regarding Crystal

"Perform grouping on server" may also speed things up.
Since we have move to 5.0 all Crystal reports previously written for 4.0 now
take much longer to compile or run. Has anyone else noticed this and is
there a fix or a configuration setting to get performance back to what they
were in 4.0?

Thank you

That's odd, because our reports seem to run quicker in 5.0, and we are able to do more complex joins.

Are you making sure to link all tables by Company name?

Also if Smart Linking is on you need to remove invalid or unnecessary links.
Have you set "Perform Grouping on Server" from under the "Database" drop
down. This also helps reports run faster.

Have you run the Odbcfix patch to truncate the names?
