Quick search or baq search with contains operator

In SQL versions of Epicor you need to have full text enabled on the table/field you want to search on.

Good Afternoon,

 

I have wished for this many times, ability to write quick search or baq search with contains comparison operator.  All i seem to be able to do is begins or =.  Has anyone done anything to facilitate and in string type of search?
