Quicksearch by ClassID

OK. The outer join is nice, but now my "Quick Search" is returning
multiple results, e.g., I do a search for the PartGroup "Raw Material"
and it returns all parts in "Raw Material," but on occasion it returns
4 of the sames parts, same partnumber, same bin, etc.

Thanks,

I'm working on a Quick Search that will bring up all the parts,
location, and quantity for a given Part Class.

I created a Quick search, added the Part Tracker BAQ, set to prompt
for Part ClassID, added the PartWhse table.

For some reason when I run this search, it doesn't bring up all the
parts in a class.

Thanks,

Did you do an outer join for the partwhse table when you set up your
BAQ? In Phrase Builder there is a field, outer join, in Table
Relations that asks you whether your doing an outer join to the
parent tables children. Since you want to see all parts regardless
if they have a partwhse or not, you need to specify outer join. The
default is inner join.
