Here we go again another annoying thread by me ![]()
I did all that work in my other thread and have a great solution for what I am trying to do but now my new Quote Layer lost the ability to attach files. This is the second time it has happened to me while working on Quote Entry layers.
A little background
A long time ago in a land far away…
We have been working on going live for close to 2 years now, if you include ERP selection we are up to three. I have been learning Application Studio and I may be a bit messy
We have hired a consultant to do some customizations including layer on Quote Entry. I have created my own layer and linked it to a Development group on the menu so I can play with my layer and not affect the consultants layer.
If you look at my other recent thread some great people in this forum have helped me to create some nice new features to deploy. Needless to say there was plenty of trial and error. It seems when I muck around with a layer for too long, my layer loses the paperclip icon used to attach documents. I had a previous layer that got to the point that from that layer you also couldn’t mark the quote as quoted nor access some features from the overflow menu, almost like it was a security feature, except keep in mind my users is the main system admin user with all privileges?!?!? If I access the Quote Entry page with the layer created by the consultant for the same quote I have all the right options/features.
The last time this happen I abandoned my layer and created a new one from a working layer and manually recreated my changes.
Is this a known bug?
Am I messing around too much in the Events?
PS I am doing the Application Studio work in the browser.
