It takes approximately 57 seconds to load a quote from "Search". If I pull in multiple quotes it takes the same amount of time to move from one to the next. I am using a custom menu item for Quote Entry. I have confirmed that using the out of box Quote Entry works as expected and any delay is very minimal if at all. So, I am certain the slowness has something to do with the customizations I have in place. Any ideas on where to start to see what the exact issue is, and why? Thanks. After submitting my post I started reviewing my documented customizations. I have two (2). One is a dockable sheet, and the other is a combination of a checkbox, ultra combo box, and a date box. I document all of my customizations, so when reviewing the dockable sheet I found a second sheet that I do not have documented. This is found under Line as "Related Sales Orders". Since I have nothing documented on this, nor is it in the "Base Only" view, I thought I would delete it to see what happens. Well, I cannot seem to complete the process to delete this view. From the Script Editor "Customization": Customization_Script.txt (1.5 KB) From the Script Editor "BaseExtension": BaseExtension_Script.txt (2.9 KB) Any help in direction would be great. --- ## Post #5 by @josecgomez Looks like your performance hit is because you are pulling information from the Sales Order every time you load a Quote. Is this (in the BaseExtension) file. That would / could cause a significant performance hit, what is the purpose of this customzation.? --- ## Post #6 by @jplehr First, "I" do not need this. I have no documentation on this, so as far as I am concerned; it can be removed. Second, it is not in the "Base Only" form. However, it is in the "Quote Tracker" form. Here might be the kicker; My customization shows the 'Parent Layer Key' as "BaseExtension^QuoteTracker". Did I inadvertently write my customization off the Tracker rather than the Base? If I am thinking this through correctly, would this be why I cannot delete this dockable sheet? And if so, what are my options to make this right? --- ## Post #7 by @jplehr So, the issue was exactly what I saw and what Jose found in the script. For whatever reason I created my customization from the 'Tracker' form rather than the 'Base' form. The 'Tracker' form is accessing the Sales Order to find "Related Sales Orders". This does not have any performance hit for the 'Tracker'. I rewrote my customization using the 'Base' form and everything is working as expected. Note to self... Pay Attention!
