Quote Salesperson Commission Pct Auto populate?

Before I dive into the Customization route, Should the Default Commission Percentage from Work Force populate the Commission Pct on a Quote ?

Yes. Are you using territories or manually entering the salesperson?

Yes to both., Not sure if we are using territories correctly though…

Do you have the salesperson assigned to the territory?

Yes, All salespersons assigned to 1 and only Territory .

I would check the quote tables to see if it is populating in the background but not showing on the quote. It should default in.

I checked the QSalesRP table. after starting a new Quote and entering a line. RepRate is 0, not the default from Work Force ( Sales Rep ? )

Ours doesn’t auto-populate either so… :man_shrugging:

The field help on the commission percent in Work Force Maintenance says it is used as the default in Order Entry and Invoicing.

If you add another salesperson as a second salesperson, does that one default in?

Oh, and if you are using territories, did you set up the Sales Regions and Boundaries?
