They recommend Raid 0/1 Basic mirroring. Raid 5/7 is emphatically NOT supported by any version of Vantage.

We've been using Raid 5 on our servers for both Vantage 3 and 4. It wasn't recommended, but I've encountered no problems.

I am the same as Robert, We have been using RAID5 on versions 3 and 4 with
no difficulties

RAID 1 is the choice for me. Just unplug the dead drive and carry on.

RAID 0/1 was recommended by Epicor. I have it on my
new server for 4.0 but (shhhhhh!!!) we are still on 3.
My test database is running great.
