That has been my experience that excluded lines are not added to the
aggregate. We use it to show/not show open closed po and sales order lines
and to total the results.

Subject: [Vantage] RB - Excluded Band Lines Also Excluded From Aggregates?
I'm seeing some pleasantly surprising results in Report Builder and I would
like to confirm (if anyone knows) if this is really a feature in RB.
I have a report where I am inhibiting printing of certain band lines (a
sales report where I don't want to see parts first made before this year)
but I can't filter them out because in order to determine if they were "old"
I need all prior invoices & jobs). So I inhibit printing them on the Part
sort group footer based on the oldest job date. I have another aggregate
that totals the Part Total at a higher level to then get a total for all of
the estimator's parts.
What I am seeing is that although I have not otherwise excluded prior year
invoices it seems to be skipping adding to the aggregate any part that is
not printed and not adding them to the estimator's total. All this time
I've been doing RB I've manually excluded amounts on inhibited lines from
the field I aggregate on. If inhibited lines don't get aggregated this
would open up a lot of nice possabilities as well as make such reaports a
lot easier.
Does RB really work this way? Is it smart enough to exclude print inhibited
totals from further totaling? My preliminary testing says 'yes' but before
I do a lot of testing I wanted to see if someone knows already.
Thanks,
