RE : Vantage connection via modem

I am not so sure about 2 Terminal Service licenses being included, you do
have however 90 days unlimited access before you need to purchase. We have
been using Terminal Services running on Windows 2000 across a 64k frame
relay circuit for about 6 months now. We have two remote locations with two
concurrent users at each location with minimal data collection. The response
times have been more than acceptable in my estimation.

Mr. Lunsford,

If you are considering an upgrade to Windows 2000 Server, I believe this
comes with 2 Terminal Service liscenses (same as today's TS4/ Citrix).

We have recently hired two outside salespeople and need them to have access
to our Vantage database. We have been able to set them up where they can
access Vantage via a modem, but it is painfully slow (15 minutes just to log
in). Vantage support suggested a Citrix server. This option is expensive
considering we have only a few users that need to access Vantage in this
manner. Has anyone else had the same problem and found a less expensive
alternative?
