Or you can give them BAQ access which will again, only allow tables
within their security permissions.

Hi Guys,
Is there a way to grant read only access to the database from vantage
application. We want certain users to be able to go in and look at the
information but not modify it (based on their existing security group
membership). We are running Vantage 803.305
I have looked in to the security maintenance options and they either
ALLOW or DISALLOW process or menu items.

Any Assistance is much appreciated.

One solution, besides giving the read only users access to only
trackers, is to create a new menu item for the form you want to be
read only, in menu maintenance, and select the "Read Only" checkbox.
This removes the save and delete buttons from the form and makes all
fields read only. It just requires you to add a new menu item for
each new read only form.
