Reassigning Territories for sales reps Work Instructions/Documents

Hey there, I am reaching out to see if anyone has documents or work instructions from Epicor regarding how to reassign territories to sales reps as well as removing outdated/adding new sales reps from certain areas. I looked in the knowledge center and the page came back blank unfortunately.

Thank you!

Once a workforce is created you can’t delete it the best you can do is make it inactive.

You use territory maintenance to add and remove sales people.

If you are using the classic screens then clicking on F1 in the Territory Maintenance should give you the information you are looking for failing that download a copy of the application users guide. If I recall I think the information is in the CRM section of the Manual.

Hope that helps.

You can reassign (adjust) sales territories after making changes to them in Sales Territory Maintenance from the Actions menu. There are three steps: (1) adjust all or only adjust the current territory, (2) run the edit list so you can see the proposed changes prior to (3) post the results. This will update the customers and/or ship-to records where the territory is not overridden.

Thank you for your help!

We didn’t have any work instructions for this. I do have another question; do you have to enter the zip individually for each state? Or can you do the start - end post code and be fine? I see it currently has them entered individually which seems very tedious. Was wondering if there was a faster way of entering in this information. Thanks!

As far as I recall, you can just enter the State once in the Boundaries without any zip codes. The only reason you would enter a zip code range is if you are splitting a state, i.e., northern and southern California.
