RECID fields

Jeremy,
There is a recid function that you can use.
There is a unique recid for each record of the database.
I'm not sure about using it with the export function, but here is a
simple example

For each Part no-lock:
display recid(Part).
end.

There is also a rowid function that I believe was intended to replace
the recid in later versions.

Subject: [Vantage] RECID fields

I was wondering if anyone knows how to export the RECID field when I export
a table with progress code. Is there a way to access the RECID field via
ODBC? If I understand the RECID field correctly there is one in every
table. When I was running Vantage on SQL Server it was available to me but
now I can't figure out how to access it. This would be very handy for me.

Thanks
