Thank you Gary,
I tried unengineering the job, but if I open the MRP job in Job Entry, the Engineered check box is greyed out.

Highlight the order link in Job Entry grid line and press delete. The
job may need to be unengineered.

Subject: [Vantage] Remove Demand

I haven't seen this problem before, so not sure how to fix it.

User made an order, I guess (what they say) they entered a part that
didn't exist in part master, which then created the "make to order"
demand on that release, created an MRP job.
This is an error, the part is wrong, and the demand needs to be removed
and the MRP-created job deleted, the release line deleted and the whole
thing started over.

So, how do I delete the demand, so that I can delete the job, so that I
can delete the release so that I can delete the line?

I assume this has nothing to do with the actual "Demand" module, as we
don't license it, the demandheader, demanddetail tables are empty.
When I look at a job in Job Entry, what defines the records that are
showing in the Demand Summary tab?

if I see that the Demand Status is = 'voided' (because I 'closed' the
release), what do I do with the MRP-created job? It isn't Firm, so can I
just safely ignore it?

Do I just leave it as it is, with demand voided, everything is ok?

Thanks for any help or advice
