Renewing support question

The money saved would be better spent on the next system whether Vantage
or not! Gives you the freedom to reevaluate when you see fit. I agree
with everything you said and thus why we aren't on maintenance on ver.
5.1. It worked for us and did what we needed. The updates never
included any recommendations we made so why keep paying for them. Hope
this helps.

Subject: [Vantage] Renewing support question

I started to write a message explaining how we got to this point, but it
was getting way too long and sounded like venting. Bottom line, our
Vantage support contract is soon up for renewal and due to what I
consider unresponsive and many times very poor support and Epicor
wanting to charge us for customized programming to fix their recognized
bugs that they patch in future releases, I'm seriously considering not
renewing support.
Besides being stuck at the current release (8.03.404B) which has been
customized a lot to fix shortfalls in Vantage, has anyone got any
feedback to their experiences with Epicor that has cancelled support?
Thanks,
Ed
