I would create an invoice for the sale of the equipment, due in 60 days, and
apply the "rent" payments to the invoice.

Subject: [Vantage] Rent to Own -
I have a customer that is going to rent our equipment for a couple
months. Then purchase it. The money that was paid to us for "renting"
will be deducted from the purchase amount.
Does anyone know how to do this in Vantage? I was thinking about
deposit billing but I am not sure if this is the correct way
This is a question for all you bean counters - should this amount go
into Deferred payment?
