Good morning all,

I had to close the last fiscal period of the year in order to get the balances forward for the balance sheet accounts. I am now trying to reopen it in order to post some entries. However, I get the following error message:
"Future G/L fiscal periods must be closed through the G/L general operations menu."

I have opened up the first period of the current fiscal year, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Has anyone else encountered this?
