Replace License file

Hi,

Does any one know how to replace license file. When i try to import it I have logic error
The license was already imported from file ‘124800.lic’. Installation name: ‘Graticules Optics Limited’.

I believe you need to unassign the license from your companies first in the admin console

Thank you but i cant unassign or im doing something wrong. Have you got any step by step instruction?

I’m trying to remember the steps. You need to do it in a very specific order. I just dont have an epi-playground in front of me at the moment.

Thank you anyway. I have really urgent situation here and I’m chasing EpiCare as well.

I think I ended up even deleting the license from the database…but NOOOO wait till epicare tells you what to do.

From Epicare: searched the kb for this…

The license was already imported from file nnnnnn.lic

  1. Rename the .lic file that you are trying to import into your Epicor database (e.g. from nnnnnn.lic to nnnnnn_1.lic).
  2. Try to import the license file again.
