Subject: [Vantage] Replace null with zero in Crystal

Good day,

I'm trying to do some calculations in Crystal, but one field has null
values some of the time. I don't wat to touch the database, but thought
there was a way to replace nulls with a 0 integer in crystal, by
writing a fomula in the selection expert. If the value of this field is
not null, it has a significant number that is needed for a calculation,
so this cannot be a boolean expression (I know the syntax to do that).
Has anyone run into this before, and if so, can you send me the formula
for this? Thanks in advance.

Easy.

1. Create a formula.

2. Use this:

If IsNull({fieldname}) then 0 else {fieldname}

3. Drag that field onto the screen.
