replace the spare parts for the resource machine

I have spare parts as inventory in Epicor.
How do I replace the spare parts for the resource machine in Epicor ?
So that affect the quantities and cost of inventory in Epicor 10

Use “Issue Misc Material”. It’s under Inventory Mngmnt -> General Ops

  1. Enter the Part Number
  2. Select the location/bin
  3. Enter qty to issue(use a positive number) Inventory will be reduced by this qty.
  4. If required, select a reason code
  5. Click Issue
  • QOH of the bin selected will be reduced by the qty entered
  • Inventory GL account will be credited by cost of that qty. The actual cost used depends on the cost method
  • The offsetting GL account will be determined based on GL Control settings for the company, or possibly for the Reason Code.

You’re not going to be able to do what you want with a simple binding, as the PartTran data isn’t tied to any forms. It’s created on the fly by transactions that forms initiate.

You’ll need to update that with a BPM - which will require some skills I’m not yet perfected. Namely passing data to a BPM from the calling form.

You might want to customize the Issue Misc Material form so that your two dropdown menus automatically populate the Reference field. and use that (the Reference field) for storing the Resource.
