Report Builder and Vantage

Progress 10. Vantage 7.0 (Sonora). And I'm not sure it disappears, just
Progress won't support or upgrade it any more (as if they were doing that
NOW). Also, Epicor seemed to be trying to seek another reporting tool(to
replace Report Builder) from their talk at Perspectives...so I don't know
that I would be rushing around trying change everything from Report Builder
to Crystal just yet. How long till you plan to move to 7.0?

Sonoma .... not 6.0

No, not until 7.0 (Sonoma) when Progress 10 is required. 6.0 and 6.1 still use Progress 9.1D so you can continue to use RB probably for quite a while unless you are planning to early adopt Sonoma. I am figuring RB will be in use here for at least two more years and continue ot use it for quick hit reporting. Major reports I'm doing with Crystal and probably will be with VBI too. Plent of time to gradually switch over.
