Usually for this sort of thing I set a counter type formula field like A-Counter := IIF(Type = 'A',1,) then aggregate pre-pass to get a total of 'A' transactions for thr part. Then do a test formulat field like: No-A:=IIF(A-counter = 0,True,False). Then condition the part-footer line to only print when No-A = True. You should only get parts with none of that type.

I was asked to write a report that picks out parts in inventory that
have not had a single transaction of a certain type in its history for
2004.
Say I want parts that have not had transaction type A
The trouble I'm having is this:

Part 123 history:
type A
type B

Part 123 gets printed because it has a transaction that is not type A,
but I don't want it. Part numbers get printed out multiple times
depending on the number transactions are in the history but I only need
it once and only if it has never had type A.
Does anybody have any ideas? I'm using RB and were on Vantage 5.1
