I have never run into this before and I am sure that it is something
simple (?) I have an old 1099 report builder report that works great -
however, I want to add a filter to it from an aggregate field. I have
created this field but, when I go to select it in the filter box - the
name does not appear in the box for me to select. I also have a
calculated field that does the same thing. Any thoughts ?

Make sure the aggregate is set to pre-pass.
