You have to prepass the aggregate variable then it will know 5 when you are
on page 1.

I made something like this work once but it was pretty difficult. I had to set an aggregate type counter for printed lines and every 50 or so forced a page break band and printed a calculated total page number based on counted records. Trick was to know for sure in advance how many lines would always be on each page then divide into the max for the detail lines.

Another way is to run it once in preview and see how many pages there will be then run it again and pass the total page count into a calculated field by parsing out a dummy report filter. So end users running the report would have to know to preview it then run again to print it.
