Hi all,

I've been trying to write a report showing order releases, all
associated shipments made and all associated job operation times. It
appears to be impossible to acheive two 'right-outer' joins in a report
- does anyone know a way around this?
If not, is it possible in Crystal assuming I go down the ODBC route?

Thanks for any help in advance,

As far as Crystal goes, I I've successfully done two Left-outer joins, but not right-outer (haven't tried). Typically, though, Crystal 7 didn't do joins well for me, besides the very simple ones. Crystal 8 is much better in all respects as far as multiple parent-child joins, etc.

Note, what Crystal DOES give you, is the ability to do subreports, which has allowed me to write reports that I could NEVER do in Report Builder. That's the key functionality of Crystal in my opinion. You do sacrifice speed, however, when using subreports - especially if the subreport is in the details sections.

Speaking of attaching to Vantage via Crystal Pro/ODBC. Does crystal
pro/odbc allow me to attach to/report from the payroll tables the way RB
does not?
