I tried that and Vantage still doesn't recognize the %variables.

Can you enter the following for the temp directory?

TempDirectory=G:\wtsrv\users\%username%\vntgwork

I know that on older Vantage versions it looked specifically for the
location referenced above (with the actual percent signs) instead of
recognizing it as a user variable.

If so, you could set up a different VTG file for Citrix users than for
the regular users.

Just a thought...

We are on Vantage 6, and I am trying to track down a problem with Citrix
& Report builder (tech support has been no help). Would someone on
Vantage 5.1 or 5.2 please do a test for me? Would you change the
"TempDirectory=" to equal blank (nothing), then launch Report Builder.
I would like to know if Report Builder will load. in Vantage 6 I get a
"Report Builder has detected that the SQL engine has shut down.." (we
are running Progress.

The problem I am trying to track down is that starting with Vantage 6,
Report Builder reports will not work in Vantage if you have a blank
"TempDirectory=" in the mfg file. If you leave it blank, Progress is
supposed to create a temp directory for the work directory. If I put a
"TempDirectory=G:\vntgwork, then the Report Builder reports work fine!
