Report Builder using Training db-revised

Have you updated the service name?

This appears to overide the database path.

I have a report builder report that I was suppose to print and export
at month end (07/30/04). I printed it, but cannot find the exported
file. I've done it every month for years, so I may have just missed
exporting it. I have restored my 07/30/04 data to my training
database so that I can take that report in report builder and run it
against the training data (from 07/30/04). I renamed the company
name in the training db so that when I put the company field on the
report I would know for sure which db it is pulling from. We are on
Vantage v 5.00.329. I copied the original report to another library,
then in Connections, I changed the Database Physical name from
q:\vantage\db\vantage -to- q:\vantage\db\vantage. For Logical name I
have tried vantage and vntgtrn. The sad thing is that I had to do
this about 6 months ago and was successful. I'm obviously missing

Ann,
We ignore the logical name. Make sure in the options section that the
service name is correct. My guess is that is all you are missing.
