Report Data Maintenance for PackList

To Lookup an SCR, myEpicWeb, on left, link to search CRs...

However, from there it is cryptic...Sometimes you can find by the
number, but most of the time not...I am looking today and find putting
in the Module and either no keywords (to show all) or some keywords to
narrow your search...They have a different number system for the CR -
but I have found some reference the SCR within the body of the CR...

Thanks Michael. How does one actually look up an SCR? I got a runaround
when I asked Tech Support on this.

I'm wondering if it is fixed in .408a.

I reported this to Epicor a while bak because I had the same problem. I
ended up just adding via ODBC.

I want to bring in related data for a variant of the PackList report.

So for example I want to bring in ProductGroup data from OrderDtl, or
even just fields from OrderDtl. I see OrderDtl listed as a table on
Report Data Maintenance, and I've made a copy of the RDD for PackSlip,
and a report style that uses it. But when I generate the report from
Customer Shipment Entry I don't see a OrderDtl table in the XML. The
XML does get larger as I add fields, but only because those fields show
up as ReportLabels.

Ultimately I'm trying to create a Commercial Invoice, and it seems
like PackSlip is the place to start. But I'm not understanding why
tables that are shown in the Report Data Definition aren't included in
the output.

I don't see a way to add a relationship between ShipDtl and OrderDtl
either. When I try to do that I can't select any table that I'm
interested in linking to.

I also tried to add a UD table to the RDD without a relationship
defined, which I would expect to result in the entire UD table being
included. It doesn't show. I added ABCCode to the report, and again it
only includes the fields in the ReportLabels, not the data itself.

I was able to add a relationship to Part and get a couple of fields
from Part, but if I try to add ProdGrup as a relationship to Part I
don't get anything even though I define the links correctly (via
Company, then ProdCode).

I'm sorely confused about how this thing is supposed to actually work.
:-(

Nevermind. Looks like its fixed in 406 according to the release notes.

45353 Application Packing Slip - PackSlip Report Data Definition does not contain
any data from the OrderDtl table.

Do you know if the drillthrough and other behavior works as expected in this RDD now?
