Reporting

Thanks Todd,

Do you have any of the same problems with Access which you have with
Crystal? For example Crystal not being able to handle memo fields.
I started off using Report Builder. I then took a beginner's Crystal course
and when I tried duplicating some of the reports in Crystal they would just
hang when I had a few tables linked together. Is this the norm for Crystal?

RB - Because it is quick to bash out a report that is needed NOW!
CR - For things only a sub-report can handle (and RB can not) - more
powerful but slower to develop with than RB
Access - To handle things like the sale commissions array data and
manipulate data via queries
VBI-CorVu (future) - truly powerful reporting and drill down but
very complex and best results are not real-time
-Todd C.

I know most of you are using either Report Builder, Crystal or
ACCESS to do
your reporting out of Vantage. Some of you are using all of them.
For the
ones who use them all can you tell me why you would use one over the
other?

Thanks,

Fredy Venczel
