Here is one on conversions from 8.0 to 8.03.
There seems to be lots of people with the problem when I search the CR requests on EpicWeb.

Description / Steps to reproduce:
CHANGE REQUEST: 27955MPS
VERSION: Vantage 8.03.407
DATABASE: Progress OpenEdge 10.1
 PROBELM DESCRIPTION:
Book Detaila show "Void" lines in after the conversion from 8.00.812a Progress to 8.03.404a Progress
Sales Management> Order Management> Order Entry> select a Sales Order, Goto Line TAB, slect line and then press the "Book Details" button

During conversion there was a mandatory conversion FixBookDtls.r that voids out some of the book details.

They sent 3 fix programs
Instructions for Deleting extra Book Details in 8.03.4
xx
1) Run DeleteExtraBookDtls.r, which uses the generic running instructions
except that the user must know the latest date that the program will
affect.
2) Run FixBookDtlNewRecords803.r, which uses the generic running
instructions.
3) Run FixBookRelNewRecords803.r, which uses the generic running
instructions.

The 1st one did delete the extra void lines but it also deleted a lot of other lines. (New and Change lines) that should not have been deleted.
the 2nd one tried to put back some of the ones deleted by mistake but got it all wrong. It put them back with the wrong amounts and added new ones that were never there.

This is documented over a year ago but there does not seem to be any real fix.

Details: Users can access reports run by
others though the System Monitor.
Work Around: Use other security to restrict access to
the epicor/mfgsysdata/ reports/user- folder to the respective system user.
Software: Vantage & Vista
Version/Patch: 8.03.406a
Area Affected: Landed Cost Issue
Type: Bug
Details: Receive a PO into (say) the default receiving
Bin, Enter an Inventory Transfer to move the stock to different Bins,
then go back to the Receipt Entry and enter the Landed Cost. Vantage
will create a new average Mtl Bur Unit Cost.
Because the received quantity is no longer in the original Bin. The
quantities are mixed up and so the cost calculation is wrong.
Work Around: Adjust costs manually if landed costs
need to be added to a receipt.
Software: Vantage & Tax Connect
Version/Patch: 8.03.406
Area Affected: A/R Posted Invoices
Type: Bug
Details: Vantage removes tax amounts from posted
invoices and then puts the posted invoice on hold.
Work Around: Don't use tax connect.
Every software has bugs and undocumented features - please don't turn
this thread into a MEGA-TOPIC. Fire prevention is easier than
extinguishing one.
This request is not being created for any reason other than to develop a
system by which administrators can be alerted of a possible problem.
Please try to send entries as soon as possible so that we may review
them at the May 15th meeting.
