Has anyone here found a way to setup an option to require inspection on Transfer Orders? We send material from one site to another, and the receiving site is receiving the material to Stock (not Job). Our customer requires that there be receiving inspection done on the parts we’re getting in, even if from a different plant in the same company. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

There’s no automagic way for Epicor to do that… but you could write a BPM that would “nonconform” any transfer-received part, and then handle it like any other inventory nonconformance.

Always great to hear from you! Thanks for the idea. I had already contacted EpicCare and submitted a Feature Request through them, but who knows when or if it will be followed up on. I figured we would need to create a BPM. I was looking for some ideas on how to attack it.
