Reset the home page or specific user from outside their login

Hello,
I have a user that created a BAQ and then put on d=their home screen as an auto-refresh icon/widget.

It is locking him up big time, as soon as you try to log in, it quits responding for a couple of minutes then let you go to home screen.

Then it locks up again if you try to do anything at all.

I need a way to reset his home screen from outside of his login.

Any idea how?

Any help is appreciated.

You may be able to give them a new home page layout, under User Account Maintenance / Options / Default Published Home Page Layout.

Another option would be to modify the BAQ so it returns 1 row or something quickly, then they can load their homepage and remove the widget.

Modifying the BAQ to return the top 1 result worked.

After I did that, the BAQ finished quick enough that I could delete it from the home screen.
