Resolved: Duplicate dropdown field on custom tab

I sent an email, but just incase.

could you please expand on your solution? I have a BAQCombo that grabs the RevisionNum for Parts. As you could guess, the BAQCombo grabs EVERY RevisionNum for EACH Part in the system. This is not practical. What I need the BAQCombo to do is grab ONLY the RevisionNums for the PartNum loaded on the screen.

I was wondering:

1.) how did you add criteria on the BAQ level and the customization level to make the BAQ results = Criteria from the Epibinding property?

2) is the "Customization to the Max" doc available anywhere?

Thank you!

In case anyone else runs into a similar issue:

Turns out the original field on the Contacts tab has some logic behind it
that isn't visible or available to be copied to a new field.

I resolved the issue by using a BAQCombo field and adding a criteria on the
BAQ that limits results to CustID equal to the EpiBinding property on the
new field. The process for adding this type of binding property criteria
was part of the "Customization to the Max" session at InSights (for anyone
who has that doc).

Subject: [Vantage] Duplicate dropdown field on custom tab

I've added a new tab to the CRM Call Entry screen and ran into a problem. I
duplicated some of the Contacts tab fields (cust ID, cust name, contact
name, email, phone, fax) and all are working fine except Contact Name.

My new field, the dropdown for Contact name, shows names for ALL contacts,
not just those for the customer on the call. It does not act the same as
the field I duplicated The same field on the Contacts tab (a standard
field) only shows the contact names for the customer on the call.

I've verified that the properties are identical for both fields.

Any suggestions?

We are on 9.05.606A.

Thanks!
