Resource issues with Windows 2008 Server

I’ve found the RAMMap from Sysinternals is pretty good for showing what is using the memory.

Subject: [Vantage] Resource issues with Windows 2008 Server

Hello,

Can somebody verify a reliable way to monitor the free memory usage in Windows 2008 Server?   The task manager is reporting that our 12GBs is always running very low with almost nothing free.

It seems no mater how much memory this machine has, it's always running low.

Thanks.

Generally I just use the Task manager one because it is accurate. I'd more investigate if you have a process running wild, boot into safe mode and open up task manager , and see if all 12gb is full, also 12gb isn't a whole lot of a server. So I can't say I am surprised its full. On our E10 server we are usually using about 10GB, we also have about 128GB of ram total though, so its no big for us.
