Yes, I’m not sure you are setting the right row either.
I’m out of practice though.
I think you’ll probably need to select the row with the dataview-condition widget, and a matches condition. Then set your fields.
The right row is getting set by the row-update. I have two sets in there one for the custom field and one for the row mod how is one getting set but not the other

Odd behavior. I just took out the leading events so I isolated this one to the button and now the getbyid works but when the row update happens it only shows the two columns I update.
What do you mean by this? The rest of the data is lost?
The get by id returns the shiphead row but when the event is completed there is only one column in the Dataview. The rest which were there is now gone.
Are you sure the returned row ever made it to your dataset?
It did and then it stopped. I looked and the layer was corrupt. the information was there for the rest calls in the the layer jsonc file but the widget wasn’t showing it so I exported and imported again and it is working again. The issue I have now is that it will update the row sort of. It will delete the original pack and create a new one. RowMod is set to U on the pay load and the original pack number is there but then in the response it is a different pack number.

At this point, I think you have something royally wrong.
I would start over and post pictures along the way.

You were close. I had something messed up with the update. I deleted it and restarted it. This time I only filled in the one part not all and it worked. I’ll send screenshots of what I have now and what I filled out originally and maybe someone can help me understand why we fill out one thing but not the other. Thank you all for all your help.

I wouldn’t call myself a Kineticist. I’m more of a Mouse in a crowd of Cats trying to figure out how I got here, and why every turn I make I’m getting bit. 
I would pull my hair out but I’ve been using the wall to massage my forehead haha. Thank you all for the help.
