Hello all,
I have a question related to RFQ creation for subcontract operations. How are people handling situations where there is a different PUM for subcontract operations within a given BOM. (Example: Op 10 - Heat Treat: PUM = Lbs, Op 20 - Grind: PUM = FT, Op 30 - Plating: PUM = EA). When an RFQ is generated, the PUM will default in as whatever the PUM is for the top level part. So if the top level part has a PUM of "EA", the RFQ's that are created will have a default "PUM" of "EA", when really it needs to be specific to the PUM of the subcontract operation. Hope this makes sense. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
