RMA Kit Return Blank Title 83845

Thanks Charlie for both of your replies.
I'm going to change our process to return Kit components instead of the non-stock kit. We have been successful in creating an RMA for a non-stock kit so I don't know what is broken there. You would think we would not be allowed to process the RMA using the kit PN.

Thanks
Dave

A non-stock kit is returned on an RMA. The components are accepted as good and must be returned to stock.
The kit part number cannot be dispositioned to stock because it is not stocked.
The components cannot be stocked because they do not exist on the RMA.

If I change the RMA Line(s) from the kit part number to the components, the correct credit is not applied to the SO.
Even an adjustment does not work because there is no place to move the kit to. I could just adjust the inv. Qty for the components.

We need to get the components into stock.
Has anyone had this problem and found a solution? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

In 8.03.408B RMA processing, the kit cannot be returned, only the kit
lines (component parts) this allows you to RMA a specific component of
the kit rather than the entire kit. If you are RMAing the entire kit,
you would need to set up each component as a return. Then any/all of the
lines can be dispositioned.

Subject: [Vantage] RMA Kit Return

A non-stock kit is returned on an RMA. The components are accepted as
good and must be returned to stock.
The kit part number cannot be dispositioned to stock because it is not
stocked.
The components cannot be stocked because they do not exist on the RMA.

If I change the RMA Line(s) from the kit part number to the components,
the correct credit is not applied to the SO.
Even an adjustment does not work because there is no place to move the
kit to. I could just adjust the inv. Qty for the components.

We need to get the components into stock.
Has anyone had this problem and found a solution? Any suggestions would
be welcomed.

Dave
