We are starting to migrate from 10.2.700 to Kinetic 2024. On this custom dashboard, I can’t seem to edit any of the formatting rules. Is there a reason why they are all locked? What if I want to change some of them?

I was going to suggest making sure you’re editing the Base, instead of a layer … but it looks like you are…
Is this dashboard deployed as a Kinetic Application?
I’ve seen recently that you can sometimes just copy the data rule, make your edits and save the new one … and it will override the original data rule
But it apparently doesn’t always work - and I don’t know the criteria for why it sometimes does the job and sometimes not … but it’s worth trying it
Is this a classic dashboard that epicor converted to kinetic via automated process? If so I would throw it out and start fresh. The converted dashboards will unexpectedly become corrupted and there is nothing you can do to recover them. Not worth it.

Its not a security issue, its a problem with the conversion program. In some cases the entire dashboard will get marked as a system dashboard and then you can’t even delete it, let alone the components in the dashboard. Support has no solution. It’s happened to me three times now so I no longer use converted dashboards at all, too much time wasted.
