Running both E9 and M2K

Good Day Wayne:

Epicor bought M2K from ROI Systems about 2005.

Wow, when did Epicor buy M2k? We demoed M2k back in the day (1998) but
ended up with Vantage.

Good Day:

Sun is switching to E9, but we are currently running Epicor Manage
2000.

We will have to have both clients loaded on Workstations and Citrix
(Xenapp actually).

Has anyone run both, M2K and E9, at once?

How about V8 and E9?

We went live on E9 this past August. We also came from M2K. WE do have clients for both systems (actually all three systems, PWS for M2K, & clients for V8 & E9). We basically skipped over V8 & went live on E9. THere is not any issues with as running both as the M2K is on a Unix box, & we installed a new server for V8(then upgraded to E9). We keep the M2K box for archive info as we did not copy any historical info into E9.

Good Day Howco22:

We are using the SQL version of E9.

Our M2K was running the IBM\Informix version.

Sorry, I forgot about the Unix version. I should have noted that.
