Just a thought. Did you try putting it in the parameter file instead?
Here is the progress definition for error 301
Also when I run my batch files, I do not include the .db for the database path.

** Could not recognize argument: <string>. (301)

You entered invalid parameter. This is generally the result of a syntax error, such as omitting the minus sign in front of a parameter name. See the "PROGRESS Reference Manual" for a list of valid parameters.

Hello all,

I wrote a procedure that runs all the reports in a certain library. I'm trying to create a batch file that will run this procedure. My command statement is below:

V:\PROGRESS\bin\prowin32.exe V:\VANTAGE\db\vantage.db -ininame V:\VANTAGE\vantage.ini -pf V:\VANTAGE\db\Vantage.pf -N TCP -H ntserver-S epic52 -ld vantage -p d:\ReportBuilder\ReportProcedures\BatchProcedure.p

Whey I try to run this, I get this error:

**Cannot recognize argument: -ininame. (301)

Any ideas on what this means?

Thanks,

Jasper
