Sales Backlog Reports (Crystal)

We're trying to create sales backlog reports that divide the backlog into logical categories. Our total backlog report works fine, our "on-hold" report works fine. The two I'm having trouble with are a report of allocated, which I've defined as status "pick" and "picked" and the remaining category which should be not pick, picked or on hold. Do any of you have Crystal reports that divide up the backlog in this or a similar way and that add up to the total backlog?

By the way, we've been trying these reports on our Training database so it's stable and timing is not an issue for the inability to get them to total.
