Any opinions on the use of E9 Sales Forecasting or MPS in contrast to conducting forecasting of either external to E9? The objective is to get Cash Flow to be more realistic based on expected cost of materials but using false MPS Part numbers to represent Product Model Families seems like an unnecessary cluttering of the part master file. We think Sales Forecast would add revenue to the cash flow projection, can anyone confirm that? Has anyone used a desktop forecasting tool in lieu of the use of E9 Sales and/or MPS forecasting?
