Tried to utilize our Sales order backlog report as we normally do prior to the last update & it doesn’t print or print preview. Our mods to the report added open jobs with last completed operation, parts in stock & warehouse. The dates autofill with 2019 dates & when adjusted gives an error of “enter correct date”. When the dynamic box is checked off the error goes away but still doesn’t create the preview. Is there a fix for this in the near future? Critical operational report for us!
Hi Greg,
It sounds like you have an upgrade issue. You should post a support ticket to epicor anytime you have an issue preventing you from working. If this is a problem with the recent upgrade, they should be able to help you. If you want more targeted help from this group, make sure to post more specific details and examples. Have you checked the system monitor when you run the report? If there is an error, it will show in History Tasks with a yellow highlight and details about the error. If the report is just taking forever to run, you should see it in Active Tasks, along with the time the process was started.
Good luck! Post back with any specifics you can.
Thanks Nate. Unfortunately I am only a person who utilizes Epicor & not an IT guy with any knowledge on the subject. It’s too bad Epicor won’t support as it is a customization of the report. I can’t really give any specifics other than it is requesting correct dates in the 4 boxes that can be changed but they generates an error saying something to the effect of it “doesn’t see a real date”. I just wondered if anyone had the same issue & new if there was a fix they applied that was functional. We did put a ticket in. We are now trying to get a second tech company to see if there is a fix or another way to generate a similar report with the same info. I am sure we gave them specific details. Thanks for the info!
