We have a general need to be able to report on not only bookings
changes to the sales order backlog, but release date changes (ShipDate,
ReqDate, and Date01) as well.
The Bookings tables capture credits and debits to the backlog, but
don't capture date changes, and the ChgLog data is useless for this kind
of targeted reporting.
I think I'd have to do a BPM package that captures OrderRel changes to
a UD table, which isn't trivial, and I'd need some help on getting the
writes to the UD table to work from 4GL (this apparently is possible
now).
Has anyone done something like this or know of a different way to
approach this?
