Progress Vantage 8.0.405A

When we create a new sales order it supplies us with a new sales order
number. Is there any way that you can auto populate the Project ID field
so that it displays the same number as the sales order number. Currently
they have to right click on the Project ID and go to project entry. Then
they type in the sales order number as the project ID. After that they
type in the customer name in the description for the project. Just
checking to see if anyone has found a way to automate this process.
