Sandbox versions of Epicor available

We are looking to upgrade from 10 to Kinetic 2025. It will take me some time get a server setup for our developer to start working. He has some time available now to start learning App Studio, Epicor functions, etc(new tools in Kinetic). Any chance there are resources out their for developers to get hands on experience with these tools?

I was kind of hoping there might be a sandbox environment we could use but maybe other ways for our developer to get hands on access to start learning?

Talk to your cam, maybe you can (or already have) access to the Education DB.

If you are on prem it is pretty trivial to spin up your own. If you are on Cloud there is a Pilot available .

When I was in public cloud, the Education instances were still in Multi-Tenant. We weren’t able to do the same things in MT that we could in public cloud. For App Studio and just messing around with the instance, it would be fine, but if you had code to write in directives or configurators, the Education instances didn’t work for us.

Does anyone know the current status of Education instances in public cloud? Are they in containers and have full public cloud features?

Agreed but just to get a feel for the Kinetic UI and App Stuido it’d work.

Anyone know off the top of there head where to find the installation guides for Kinetic? On EpicWeb in Documentation > Technical Reference Guides > Kinetic I found the hardware sizing guide but it’s not obvious if there is a doc on how to install Kinetic

It’s in the downloads section of the Kinetic on prem section.
