SC Newbie trying to create my first workflow

In the example they had the following for the ConversionCfg field in the
Input Channel:

<DefaultNamespace>http://epicor.com/bom</DefaultNamespace>

I had changed it from bom to part since I am only dealing with the part
table. There was no explanation of what this field does of if I should
be replacing <DefaultNamespace> with something. Any ideas?

In the example they had the following for the ConversionCfg field in the
Input Channel:

<DefaultNamespace>http://epicor. <http://epicor.com/bom>
com/bom</DefaultNamespace>

I had changed it from bom to part since I am only dealing with the part
table. There was no explanation of what this field does of if I should
be replacing <DefaultNamespace> with something. Any ideas?

It looks like your message mapping or inbound channel is messed up.

I'm running into this same issue with my first Service Connect. Without posting a lot of XML, I'm getting "Unable to resolve map for incoming message".

The grey-book 'course' is my only reference material. I'm lost in the woods without any breadcrumbs.

Ideas? Help?

You would be correct sir! Doh!

Sometimes it's the little things that hurt.

After attending the SC Class I learned that this field is used to create a
"space" where data is passed in and out of for the service connect. If this
field is not filled in it generates a location randomly. There is a
possibility that the same space could in theory be used twice by the same
flow which in turn could cause issues. However after learning this I have
never seen this happen and I have been leaving the field blank ever since I
started using SC.

Just an FYI!

You would be correct sir! Doh!

Sometimes it's the little things that hurt.
