Schedule by Product Group

Anyone know if it is possible to have the system schedule by Product Group?

Specifically, I would like a certain Product Group to always be scheduled for second shift.

Any ideas?

I’m not super great in the scheduling department, but I am starting to think you’d have to use a resource group with a specific calendar and then modify all those BOMs so that they have that resource group in whatever ops you are trying to schedule?

there is no way to do this out of the box. Product group is not used in Scheduling anything. Scheduling specific items to specific shifts is not really possible.
