Scheduleing simultaneous operations

Kelly,
We are on 8, and I have never used 6.1.
However, what are the durations of the operations, and what are their relationships? Seems start to start, or Finsh to finish MIGHT be able to help you here.

Carey

We are on 6.1 and struggle to schedule simultaneous operations (we canoften perform a prep or secondary operation within the cycle of aprimary operation). We need to find a way to schedule the operationsto run simultaneously...right now they schedule one afteranother....which lengthens the lead time of the part (pushes all prioroperations to start earlier than what we would like). I found the split operation feature - not sure if will helps. Also weare starting to look at Auxilary and Additional operations (not surewhat they do). We do not use Global Finite Scheduling...Any help is appreciated!thanks,Kelly
